We're Tim & Tammy Kaulback. Several years ago we had a dream to step away from the construction and renovation of large-scale projects and do something very different...build tiny homes. We spent three years researching everything we could find about tiny homes, their design and construction, and the people who live in them.

We discovered that tiny homes have come a long way since the initial concept of a very small 8' wide living space on wheels. The options for sizes, floorplans, storage, and interior design have really evolved. We fell in love with the idea of a small home NOT on wheels, with all the amenities of a typical home. We wanted to design floorplans with lots of storage and features that would make our tiny homes practical for long-term living. And we wanted it all wrapped up in a package that is low maintenance and esthetically beautiful.

Along the way we discovered that there are multitudes of reasons people are embracing the tiny house movement:

• Embracing a simple, economical lifestyle

• Building a home for their family in a housing market that has priced hardworking people out

• Downsizing from the maintenance & expense of a large home

• Freeing up their finances to travel and invest in experiences

• Moving aging loved ones into a backyard suite instead of LTC

• Realizing the dream of a cottage on their lake lot

The reasons are as unique as the people who have embraced the tiny home ideal.
